Tonight’s title is “Uuuuuuuggghhhh” just because the A’s just blew another save (that’s 30 this year. THIRTY BLOWN SAVES).
Otherwise, today was amazing.
Slept in. Had some delicious breakfast. Went to Powell’s and got some cool stuff including some sweet new t-shirts. Liz polished her speech for the wedding.
And then we went to the rehearsal dinner spot and got everything set up, and it looked GORGEOUS. Absolutely gorgeous. Liz really turned it out, and I think J and Mike were really happy with it all. I hope they were.
Dinner was amazing. The drinks afterwards were amazing. I’m so excited for the wedding.
Not excited about the A’s loss. If we lose one more game this year (there are two to go), we could squander home field advantage for the wild card game and that would be…oh, my, that would be disastrous. Potentially. See, the A’s are 0-2 in the wildcard play-in game, and both of those losses came on the road. Not a coincidence.
Anyway…time for sleeps.
