So, I have two pairs of AirPods, now. My old ones, which have suffered from battery degradation to the point where I can’t use them for phone calls more than 10 minutes or so, and then my new ones that I use pretty much everywhere.

Well, my old ones had been sitting in a drawer in my office not being used. Duh. I had my new ones. Here’s the thing: I realized that I’d love to have music playing most nights when I sit down here in bed to do my last writing session of the day and then to write these entries. BUT…I charge my new AirPods out in my office. Makes it easy for me to grab them whenever I’m leaving the house. NOT great for listening to music in the bedroom whilst I write at night.

I just moved my old AirPods into the bedroom.

PROBLEM SOLVED.

Omg. I’m so excited. I’m listening to them right now. Just had a DOPE ASS writing session before bed, too.

It’s the little things, yo. The details. It makes EVERYTHING for me. Particularly with the writing.

In other news: I am wiiiped. Podcasting takes so much energy. I love that about it, actually. I love that it’s a project that kind of exhausts me. It means I’m doing something worthwhile.

Josh and I casted again this evening. We watched our second Chaplin film. We weren’t really fans of the last one. Did it change this time around? Maybe. Just maybe. It’s called The Gold Rush. Episode we be out in a couple weeks.

It was a bit of busy day. Went to Ikea before recording and got the little file drawer add on to my type of desk that I’m putting in next to my work table in my office. Hopefully it provides enough drawer space to replace the shelving unit I’m taking out. We’ll see. May have to get rid of some stuff, which is fine.

Otherwise spent the day with the pups, who are currently curled up next to me in bed, already asleep. Gah. Love them so much.

Okay. I think that’s enough for tonight. Looking forward tomorrow to watching some football and putting together the file cabinet. And then otherwise just continuing to sort through all the stuff I want to keep and all the stuff I want to get rid of.

Night 🙂
