Back online! Woohoo!

Liz was able to call Spectrum today and they sent someone out THIS EVENING. Holy crap. Such service. Time Warner who? 😜

Writing was wonky today. I feel out of rhythm, but here’s the difference: I know now what I need to do to get back. I need a good night’s sleep, and I need to get to work on time tomorrow with a mind full of what I want to get done, and then I can just DO it.

So, that’s what I’m going to do.

Work is in good shape. I’m submitting all my work on time, keeping my head above water, hopefully delivering quality. Got the video I was working on for a colleague off on time today, too, which was awesome. Hopefully they like it. We’ll see.

Finished Witcher with Bear. It’s terrible. So disappointing. I suppose I shouldn’t say it’s terrible as much as it just was frustrating. Frustrating because it COULD HAVE been cool. It should have been a show I really liked. But, they didn’t know how to execute the story properly. It’s so rushed. So unjustified. And that’s always most disappointing in the end, when all the major stuff goes down. If you’ve not brought your audience in to properly care about all that finale mayhem stuff…it’s really painful to just watch it all happen and not give a shit. It always feels like such a waste.

The Witcher was a waste.

Sigh.

Stories are hard. I definitely know that. Which makes the good ones all the more rare.

And they are out there. That’s what’s exciting.

Night!
