Happy Valentin’s Day!
I got to spend the entire day with Liz. Work let me stay home, and we did pretty much everything together today. The only time we were apart was when I took the dogs for a walk in the morning, and Liz went and got her hair done for an audition.
We went to her audition together. We sat down for lunch together and watched the latest episode of Star Trek: Picard. It’s getting better, I think! A little. It’s still pretty broad, pretty clunky, but I am here for the adventure, and I am here for the Borg artifact stuff, and I am HERE for Seven of Nine showing up. Fuck yes.
Then we went to another audition for Liz, this one over in North Hollywood. I got to talk to both my dad and Scott while I waited in the car today for the two auditions. That was nice. We came home after that, fed the pups, and I took a nap while she read a new pilot script.
She took a rest once I got up, ordered Indian food for us to have for dinner (omg, so FREAKING delicious), I took the pups on a nighttime walk, and then we watched the latest Terminator film, Dark Fate.
It was fine. Definitely better than the previous two movies. But, of course, nowhere near as great as T2. We very much enjoyed ourselves, however. Fun action. A plot that actually makes sense, unlike the last one…it was good. It’s worth a rent or a watch if it’s on somewhere 🙂
The card Liz made me today was EPIC. It was a foldy one that opened up in leaves, like those paper finger things we used to make as teenagers—pick a number, and pick a color, then you’d unfold it to reveal what answer you got—except it was a Valentines message that you could unfold and unfold forever in a loop (because she and Coops and Coco love me forever!). Legit, the coolest card she’s ever made me, I think.
AND she got the A’s Mascot Stomper to record a video message for me telling me Happy Valentine’s. Amazing.
Truly a wonderful, amazing day. One of the best I’ve had in a while.
I love you, bear. So much. So, so much. I love that we can spend an entire day together and feel so happy at the end, so lucky. What a wonderful day.
Night!
