Still adjusting to the time change. I should be asleep right now, but instead, it feels like time to get ready for bed. Aaaallll because of the time change 😛
That was one thing I dug about working from home: I could make all of my own hours, and not ever have to worry about the time change. I’d just change my alarms accordingly, so I was still getting up at the same time in relation to the sun, not what the actual number my clock was telling me it was.
I think that’s something that’s easy to forget about when we change our clocks: just because we change sunrise from 6:30am to 7:30am doesn’t mean that the SUN itself is actually rising at a different time. It’s not. It’s still on its own natural cycle. It’s only US who have changed our clocks. And that’s why this time change thing is so hard to adjust to: the world itself hasn’t changed. We did. For some insane reason.
That said…I wish we’d just stay on “Daylight Savings Time” all the time. 365. Just keep it here. I like it here.
Had a decently slow day. Good therapy. Good nap. Got the podcast posted for tomorrow. Filled out all my hire packet documents.
Tomorrow…a new normal.
Night!
