COVID-19 is like a tsunami right now.
The water is pulling out away from the shore. And we’re watching it happen, knowing that this is not normal, and that something is coming, the wave is on the horizon, it’s definitely going to hit…but we’re still not sure how bad the wave is going to be. That’s a moment of dread. Certainty and uncertainty, all mixed together.
I worked today. I wrote, though not particularly well. I hung out with Liz and the pups. I talked to my mom, dad, and Scott. It was a good day.
The governor of California declared today that the entire state must shelter in place starting on Saturday. No travel or socializing unless it’s to get food, medicine, healthcare or child/elder care.
