Liz is out in the living room right now playing Animal Crossing on the switch. She was just voice chatting with her sister, J, and her sister’s friend because they were visiting together on J’s island. It was very, very cute. Very endearing to hear them talking about all the stuff they wanted to give each other and make for her—she just started playing the game recently—and how she needed to go to bed because she has work tomorrow, and commenting on each others’ outfits, etc. Very endearing.
Can’t really say why, but I love that Liz loves the game so much. She’s been playing the switch more than I have. Way more. And I love it. I think it’s because I love that feeling of falling into a game/world like that. It’s amazing, that feeling of attaching to a game like that where you WANT to go visit there. I remember feeling that with Skyrim and Fallout and Zelda. It’s magic. And it makes me happy that Liz has her own version of that right now.
Work was light today. I was able to get it done pretty efficiently and get some podcasting work done, too. Posted episodes for Film School and our Patreon, and then worked on some TG1T episodes. Those are coming SOON. I swear. I have about 12 of them almost ready to go. That should be enough of a lead for me to keep it up and get the whole rest of the season out. Excited about that.
The writing has been sporadic this week, as I kind of expected. But tomorrow, I’m doing a whole session. Which means I need to get to bed.
Night! 🙂
