I had a great day today.
I felt like me again. And I think it was as simple as having a very specific, very doable goal for my writing this morning, which I exceeded, and that…man. It really set the tone.
I was focused with my work after that. Did my reading in the late afternoon. Walked the dogs, and then I was done. Work was over. I felt really, really accomplished.
Such a simple fix. Huge result.
We watched Civil War tonight, continuing our Marvel Cinematic Universe rewatch. It’s sooooo goooood. Not perfect. There are a few miscues here and there, but overall it works amazingly well. It’s one of the best in the franchise. Up there with the first Avengers. Okay…well, maybe almost up there. Avengers is on its own level.
And then, I played some music. I’m building a set. A Trance set. Going to be somewhere between 90 minutes and two hours, I think. We’ll see. But I was fiddling with the order today, and it played really, really well tonight. I’m excited to share it 🙂 At some point. We’ll see when that is. Might even live-stream it.
It’s time for bed. I spend about 45 minutes playing and I really should have prepared for bed right then. But, I really wanted to play, so I did. And I’m glad I did.
It was a really good day today.
