Gonna do me a quick one tonight so I can sleep on time…solid day today.
Writing was good. Not great, but good. I did my page.
Then, we went and got tested for COVID down in Compton. It’s free and open now to everyone, and ALL RESIDENTS are encouraged to go get tested. If you live in LA, that means you. Get tested. We know there are literally thousands of people out there who are positive for the virus but show no symptoms and spreading it. That could be any of us. And even a negative test helps LA get re-opened.
Get. Tested.
And omg, it was so easy. I know wait times can vary GREATLY, but we did it at 10am and waited literally 30 seconds in line. It took 10 minutes to get checked in, swab—it’s a mouth swab, not the nose swab—drop the sample and we were done. Amazing. It gives me faith, actually, that we can beat this thing.
Work was great. Got done what I needed to get done.
Did a little editing work on TG1T. Little by little that’s getting done.
Then, read my book on FB Live. I’m done tomorrow. With the entire thing! Crazy. What a great project that has been.
Walked pups. Ate some dinner and watched Liz play Animal Crossing with J. Watched most of Doctor Strange, which is NOT as bad as we remember it being.
