Liz played two sets today on the DJ controller. I played one. Lotta haus musik up in the crib tonight.
It’s so fun. Like so so sooo so so fun. The combination of how far things have advanced controller-wise and being able to stream any kind of music that I want through the Beatport subscription is literally game-changing. It’s amazing.
Liz and I just spent like ten minutes talking about how awesome it is to play 😛 It’s like a brain puzzle plus a party plus getting lost for a while. Lost in a good way. The best way. Like, just going with the flow.
Work was great today. Writing was great, too. I was just reading through it a bit; my impression from the morning was that what I wrote wasn’t really working that well, but when I read it tonight, fuck me if it isn’t alright after all.
Two pages a day right now. That’s it. It’s fucking working like gangbusters. I’m going to have a whole book written soon. Like, months. I’m already 10% in.
Le sigh.
Good day. Digging my life right now. And we got word that it’ll be like this through July, so I get to stick with this rhythm for a while yet. Love it.
