About half of the Marvel movies are really good.

That’s what I realized today. In each of the phases, three of the six are good. Many of them very good, and a few truly excellent.

In the first phase, it’s Iron Man, Captain America’s first movie, and Avengers. In the second, it’s Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Ant-Man. In the third phase, it’s Civil War, the first Spider-Man (which we watched the second half of today and I realized it’s one of my favorites of the entire MCU…I *love* that movie, and I didn’t know it really until we watched it yesterday and today), and Thor: Ragnarok, which we just started.

The fourth phase (or, if you dumb like Marvel, Phase Three: Part 2, which makes no goddamn sense), I’m not sure.

Stinkers abound, as well, but most of the movies I haven’t mentioned are still totally fine. My top stinkers: Ultron and Guardians 2. And Iron Man 2. I don’t hate 3, though, like most people do. I think 3 is fine. As is Doctor Strange. Thor: Dark World is also pretty bad, but again, I don’t hate it. Really the only one I reeeaaalllyyyy didn’t like, to this day, is Ultron.

It took me three tries today, but I got all three of my pages written. And they’re good pages, too. They’ll need editing and rewriting, but they have life to them. I’m connected.

Work goes well. Life is good.

Night is for sleeping.
