Just had a small win: had a little breakthrough on a scene.
Pro tip: if you’re ever writing a scene, particularly an EARLY scene for a new character, and it’s just not feeling right? Take a look at whether they’re the most active in the scene, or if someone else is. If they’re not the most active, that’s probably why the scene doesn’t feel like it’s working. Switch it up. Make THEM the one doing the most, driving the action, and the other person doing the reacting.
Small win.
Big win today: I finished Season 4 of Two Guys One Trek.
It’s all up now. Scheduled out till mid-October. Done. Used up almost all of our podcast hosting bandwidth, too, which is exactly what I wanted. Next month’s goal is to have all the movie episodes done, and that is also totally doable. And then, TG1T is DONE. It’s finally done.
Big win.
Work hasn’t been won yet, but today got me back on track. Another very busy day tomorrow, and probably Thursday, too, but I should be all the way back by then. Unless more stuff comes up, which is always possible.
Wins yet to come.
