Had to say no to something today because I didn’t like the flow.
We were very close to saying yes, but it just wasn’t right in the end, so we had to say no. Which was hard. It’s hard to realize you’ve wasted someone else’s time. It makes me feel foolish. And I have been foolish. But, the only solution to being foolish is to stop acting like a fool and start acting smart and responsible. And…that’s what I did.
So…hard in the meantime. Smart in the long-term.
A lesson.
Work was busy today, actually. And it will be tomorrow, too.
For now…sleep.
