I’ve been one off on my day count for the past couple weeks. Oops. Not surprised, though. It’s been a BUSY mother of two weeks.
Just had a nice little writing session. They’re getting better, goddamnit. Truly, truly better. This opening sequence is working for me. I think. It feels better. More clear. Still some rewrites to come, I’m sure. But the bones are finally good. The characters are starting to make sense.
Work was great today. Not too overwhelming. A couple projects coming down the pipeline that are also not too overwhelming. That’s good. I don’t know how I’d handle work being super busy and overwhelming right now.
Coco is sleeping right now with her hind quarters underneath my pillow. Nice and protected. Sweet baby girl.
A’s won. That was nice to see against a very VERY good Dodgers team that will probably beat us if we meet them in the World Series. We. Shall. See.
