Ladies and gentlemen: Coco is hydrated.
We realized about a month or so ago that Coco just didn’t seem like she was drinking as much water. We never SEE her drink water. She still acts normal, pees like normal, etc, so if there is something wrong it’s not yet an emergency…but we just never noticed her drinking water.
So…she’s going to see the vet to get checked out and see if there’s anything wrong. A few months ago, all her blood work was excellent. And in the meantime…
MEATORADE!!!
The term we stole from Blair Braverman and the “Ugly Dogs” (a cheeky name – some asshole on twitter called them ugly dogs once, and so the name stuck out of spite)…but we’re adding water to her food when we feed her as well as giving her a scoop of meat along with a third cup of water twice a day as well. She loves her meat water. Hear meatorade
Work was busy today. Couple extra assignments came in, but I was able to pounce on them and get them done. The building was also a lot of work today for random reasons, but it was all handled.
A’s won, too. Alive to play another day. If they can manage to win tomorrow, they’ll be getting a rather large monkey off their back: a win in a winner-take-all game for the first time since the mid 1970s. That’s a long time, and a big monkey. I wish them luck! They’re such a good team.
