A better day today!
Man…it really was because I got up on time. Simple as that. I had a decent writing session—solid, truly—and got to work on time, got my work done on time, even had a chance at the end of the day to get tomorrow’s podcast episode posted. It was such a better day.
Tomorrow’s podcast. We do a retrospective on the year, and we don’t hold back 😂 I, especially, didn’t. Pretty sure I outright call anyone who doesn’t wear a mask a selfish asshole and to fuck off. And, here’s the thing: we recorded it weeks ago, before things even really started getting bad. We recorded it the day before Thanksgiving, I think? Something like that. LA shut down that following weekend, and our numbers continue to surge. It’s getting pretty bad out there.
Anyway…it’s a firecracker of an episode. I meant everything I said in it.
And! We’re dropping Home Alone next week as our christmas movie. That film, truly, is a christmas classic. Like, one of the most iconic christmas movies ever made. That and White Christmas are up towards the top. A Christmas Story. Ooo…and Christmas Vacation, which Josh has never seen. Just sayin’ 😉
It…still doesn’t feel like Christmas. I don’t know if it really will this year. We’re not seeing any family. Or friends. It’s…different.
