Merry Christmas Eve!!!
Christmas manages to sneak up on me every year, but this year in particular it really did. It’s usually the trip up north to see family that makes it start to set in, but we’re not able to do that this year, so I didn’t get that prompt.
Meanwhile, upstairs in the apartment above us, a party rages on, well past midnight. They’ve honestly been fine. Not too much of a disturbance. We can definitely hear them, especially when they were running—literally running—around just a few minutes ago, but Liz reports to me that it sounds like someone fell, and there likely won’t be any more running. Probably. Maybe. We’ll see.
Had a really nice day today of not really doing much. Ashika got to meet dogs up close for the first time ever, with Cooper doing most of the greeting. She LOVED him. It never ceases to amaze me how much babies are instantly drawn to animals, particularly the fluffy kind. It’s like hardwired into us. It was amazing to see Madhuri and Joe, too. They’re such amazing parents. So happy. Fills me with love to see that family, it really does. Love you guys!
Then we drove over to the Silver Lake area to pick up our dinner from All Day Baby (which we won’t actually eat until tomorrow!). Came home from that and took a nice long nap, walked the pups, dropped off some prezzies for the Clements, and then finished up the evening with some In-N-Out and GBBO.
A perfect day.
Night! 🙂
