We had Pizza Night tonight. La Morra Pizzeria was on the menu and hoooollyyy crap…delicious. Really, really delicious. I’d definitely go there again, particularly for their “Patate” pizza, which is kind of a riff on potatoes au gratin. My faaaaavorite is probably the Margherita pizza, but that’s almost always my favorite everywhere 😂 and a lot of places have a good Margherita. But, what La Morra had that I’ve never had elsewhere was the Patate.
We watched a ton more episodes of I May Destroy You and I didn’t know that it was based on something that actually happened to Michaela Coel. That was disturbing. The whole show is, and rightly so. It’s dealing with stuff in a very realistic, matter of fact, often humorous but nonetheless devastating manner that I think is really, really important. But, it does disturb me that this is the reality we live in, where sexual assault happens to one in every two women at some point in their lives.
It’s a great show. Highly recommend it. Coel is amazing. As always. The whole cast is.
Had a productive Saturday. Did a couple things I’d been putting off for a while, but I had the energy and the time to do them today. That felt great.
Pups are cuddled. Panda is in the bathroom getting ready for bed. Life is good.
