I had another decent day today. Got stuff done that was definitely giving me resistance. But, I did it. Didn’t finish it, but made major steps forward. Walked through my book outline from beginning to end with more clarity than I’ve ever had, to be honest. Going to send it off tomorrow to the author I want to write it with. Wish me luck!
Also, didn’t get up on time. But, that changes tomorrow. I’m determined. It’ll be painful as hell, but I can do it. In fact, I’m going to set the intention right here tonight to get up on time for two weeks straight. Just to re-program my clock. Wish me luck with THAT.
On a final note, however…
Eight people were killed tonight across three massage parlors in the Atlanta area, six of them Asian women.
Violence against Asian Americans has risen dramatically in the past year, and it seems to be rising to new and ever more violent heights this year. It disturbing, outraging, and must be talked about more. This latest killing spree is only the most shocking of a long list of such crimes in recent weeks and months—indeed a trend that’s been going on since COVID hit.
We have so very far to go in this country. So very far. We can only get there together.
We must all stand up to hate.
