Man…I am nearly there. Two weeks straight of getting up at 7am.
I write that, and I definitely feel…proud, but also totally silly. Like, objectively speaking, it REALLY isn’t that hard to wake up on time for two weeks. But, goddamnit, it was for me! I tried to get up at 7am for a year. Almost exactly. Couldn’t do it. And, now I have for two straight weeks.
And maaaannnn…I was EXHAUSTED this morning when I woke up. Fatigued. Allergies going crazy. I had a terrible night’s sleep. It was rooouuggghhh this morning…but I got up, and holy crap if I didn’t crush my writing session, walk the pups, then crush work. I even went grocery shopping. Took a genuinely solid nap in the afternoon to help with the exhaustion. Had a nice evening talking to my bro on the phone whilst walking the pups, then eating dinner on the couch with Liz while the Warriors played.
Still wiped out, but not nearly as much as I was earlier in the day.
Oh! And my shoulder is feeling better! Finally. It didn’t hurt all day today, nor did it click. Still soreness there, but it feels *normal* again. Normal range of motion and whatnot. Thank lord. I think taking an anti-inflammatory helped. Going to do that regularly now for the rest of this week and then see if I can get back onto my workout schedule starting next week. I will have had to take 3 weeks off. Ugh.
But…I should be able to ramp back in pretty quickly 🙂
Hoping tomorrow I feel more normal, energy-wise. Today was a challenge, for sure. Glad it all worked out, though.
