I got married to Liz seven years ago.
It’s the best thing I’ve ever done in my life. Happy Anniversary, Bear. I love you so much.
We’re apart this year. She’s up in Portland visiting her sister and father, and I . . . worked today. Worked my ass off. I pulled 15 hours today, all-told. I did sneak a 20-minute nap in there, and the last couple hours were getting the podcast up (late!)
But, I rocked my shit today. I put myself to finish my project on time. Thank lawd. I’m going to have to work my ass off tomorrow, too, and the day after that, but I can do it. I’m going to get everything done. And, that’s a relief.
Mostly today, though, I just feel grateful for the loving, supportive, laughter-filled relationship I have with my wife. I’m very lucky. The luckiest.
