I took it easy today. First day in a while I’ve actually been able to do that. I needed it! I ended taking a two-hour nap in the afternoon! I was tired.
It’s chilly. Christmas is close. Pups are in snuggly little sweaters. Coco is doing great. She’s normal. Strong. Wants to run everywhere. Do everything at 100. There is no chill for Coco, which kinda funny since she snuggles and sleep so much, but I guess that’s what I mean: even sleeping and being snuggly she does at 100. Total commitment. No hesitation.
Coops isn’t like that. He worries. Second-guesses. Thinks and watches before he acts (most of the time…I mean, he’s still a dog). He even sniffs a treat before eating it. So deliberate. The opposite of Coco.
We watched a really interesting documentary yesterday and today called The Alpinist about this young man Marc-Anthony Leclerc from Canada who free solo’s alpine mountains. That’s when you climb on your own, without ropes, up to heights that will kill you if you fall. Thousands of feet. Crazy. It was really interesting and I don’t want to say anything more than that, really, except you should watch it. Very well done.
Can’t stop thinking about it, really. Probably will think of it for a while to come.
Night night.
