Cooper is right on the edge of the bed right now. He LOVES being on the edge. Of everything. He’ll literally sleep with half his body hanging off of something.
Today was another day of doing FINANCES. And we finished them. Just this last week of whatever our expenses are, and we’re done for the year. Just in time to send them over to our accountants so we can do payroll…if we have to do payroll. We’ll SEE!
It’s such a relief to have that shit done. Whew. Next up: more work on the big project! And waking up on time to get writing done tomorrow morning. Have to start this story scene-by-scene. See how far I can get into the story this week. I’m hoping I can freaking finish it! We’ll see.
It’s very, very intimidating to set “large” goals for my writing. I’m scarred by doing so much writing the past few years that I ended up hating. But, it’s just resistance. If the story is right, I will know it. And it doesn’t take a requisite amount of time when I realize something isn’t working to fix it. When it’s fixed, it’s fixed! I can trust that in my gut now. That’s really my breakthrough: I can trust my gut again. I’ve remembered how.
So…write fast. Just trust your gut. Both ways. When it’s good and when it’s bad.
Night night.
