Exhale.
I got “caught up” today with work. Phew. Gonna TRY to push it tomorrow and get ahead. Get my office squared away. Stick in this groove I’ve found with writing—literally just by getting my ass up on time.
It was a good day today. Exhausted, but not TOO exhausted. Woke up on time. Didn’t even take a nap! I know, I know. I’m a beast. I’m crazy. Watch out!
Writing has been pretty good. Ran aground a bit today. Nothing to bad, though. Will attack it again tomorrow morning. Full day tomorrow to get work done. Don’t have to go anywhere or do anything. Going to try and relish that.
Also relishing, right now, that the Warriors smoked the Mavs for a game 1 victory in the Bay tonight. Can’t take it for granted. The Mavs were down 2-0 to the Suns. They stormed back to beat them four times in the next five games. Just have to keep playing good basketball. Figure out what adjustments they’re going to make and counter punch. It was nice to see, though, that we were the ones to deliver the first blow. Force them, at least, to figure US out as the first adjustment.
