Almost done reading Project Hail Mary. So good.
Not a super productive day, but after such a late night and this fuuuuucking week, it was exactly what I needed. Passed out for a nice long nap after I was done with work…started watching a good new movie. Well, old movie: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, the original Swedish version, not the re-done english one. It’s…really good. Loving it. Suckered me in with a whodunit.
Pups are great. Tommen is staying with us again. We love him. It’s going to be a little cooler this weekend, which is a relief. I can get some work done in the front yard, start a little earlier. That’s how I’m about to finish reading Hail Mary; listening to it as I pull weeds. It’s very satisfying work, actually. I really enjoy taming the chaos. It’s deeply gratifying…and it’s going to look so nice when I’m done. I get it. I get why people get so into their gardens.
