Lots of prep work today. LOTS of prep work. We’re having work done on the house over the weekend, and there was a tooooon of stuff to do to get ready for it. But…we did it. We got it done.
It’s late, so not a super long one tonight, but the writing is going well. We’re doing a Disneyland trip this weekend for Ashika’s birthday, so things are slightly being disrupted BUT, hopefully not toooo bad. I’m starting to feel a little bit of a groove with the outlining, and I want to ride that shit over the next few weeks. Wish me luck.

That’s all for tonight. Oh! Except that my backup drive for my main computer—the one I use for time machine—suddenly failed this morning! Wild how that happens. Hard drives do that. They just go kaput all the sudden. Thankfully it was just my backup drive. Easy to replace. And it makes me realize I really, really need to get this backup drive I’ve been eyeing for about the past two years; it’s a dual/raid drive, so I can set it up as mirrored drives and that way everything that goes onto it automatically has redundancy. If one drive fails, the other drive will still have the data. Need to pull the trigger and get it.
