We’re doing all of Hitchcock. Everything. Not missing a single film, at least not any of them that are available to watch. Hitch does go back far enough that some of his early stuff is straight up lost in the mists of time. But everything that CAN be watched, we have decided to watch.
And why not? That’s kind of in the mission statement for Film School. We go hard. We do it ALL. No stone unturned. And it’s cool like that, because we get the whole picture. There’s so much to learn from the lesser-known projects. Missteps included with the highs.
I mean…Hitchcock was incredibly prolific, so that makes it a little harder, a little more daunting. We have to get through fifty-three of his freaking films. That’s more than half the AFI’s list, number-wise. BUT…it’s also what makes it kind of exciting to do. It’s another project that so, soooo few people out there have done. And we’re going to do it. WOOHOO.
