One of those very, very busy workdays. They don’t happen often, thankfully, but they do come around every so often. Honestly, I’m thankful to be busy. I need my job, and it’s reassuring to know that my job needs me.

I was able to get in 10 pages before the floodgates opened work-wise. Hoping to get that many pages done tomorrow as well, which would still put me on track for 60 pages on the week. That’s been the average, spot-on, for the first two weeks. I’d love to get up to 80, which is still my goal each week…but 60 is still damn respectable. It’s sustainable, I’m finding. I’d love the ability here and there to push, however. We’ll see how it all develops. I’m only on week 3 of…7 or 8 I think. Still plenty of time to get up to speed.

What’s nice is that the words are flowing, and after actually reading through what I’ve written over this last weekend, seeing it’s actually good, well. That’s been a huge relief. HUGE relief.

Night night. Itching to finish this work project so I can get back to more writing. Tomorrow is going to be hard. I think I could easily pull a 12-14 hour shift for work. Not sure if that will allow me any marginal time for writing.

We’ll see.
