Project is DONE. Almost. Whew. Across the finish line juuuusssttttt in time. I worked hard today. Hard this week. And I really, really want to have a dope ass writing day tomorrow, so I’m going to bed right on time.

It’s so nice and cool right now, which is very odd for September in LA. It’s usually hot all the way through, and much of October, too. The heat is returning soon, but right now it’s beautiful. I’m going to go on a bike ride tomorrow. Enjoy that shit. Hopefully go on a bike ride multiple days.

Joy’s curled up right beside me, butt pressed against my elbow. She hung out with Liz and KBear out in the living room tonight. I was supposed to ‘cast with Josh, but he had some stuff come up at the last minute, so we pushed to next week. I stayed in the bedroom with Coops and watched old Niners games. Man…that 2011 divisional playoff game against the Saints was LIT. Seriously one of the best games ever. I watched most of it, but I had to go to work at Maggiano’s that night. It was a saturday night, I think. And it was the late afternoon/early evening game, so it was ending right as I was heading into work. I listened to it on the radio driving in and the Saints went ahead late, and then we went ahead…and then the saints went ahead…and then I had to walk to work. I figured out how to listen on my phone as I walked and I remember I was right on the corner of Melrose and Fairfax waiting for the crosswalk and Smith hit Vernon Davis for a touchdown with literally seconds left on the clock. It was wild. I didn’t even get to see what it looked like until later that night on one of the Maggiano’s TVs playing highlights.

I don’t know why I felt like watching it, but I did. Tonight, I mean. It’s cool that this NFL+ app goes back that far.

Anyway…

Night night. Writing day tomorrow. Woohoo.
