Another 20Books conference done. Whew! What a relief. And…the LAST 20Books conference done. This is the last one. Craig is closing up shop on the live events. Well-earned, I think. Going out on a bang. Almost 2,000 in-person attendees. Another 800 virtuals, or something like that.

It was a rousing success. My AV team did an amazing job, thank LORD. People were very, very happy this year with the live streams. They got their questions asked. We didn’t miss a session. We even got (almost) everything uploaded to youtube so it’s ready to post later on, once the virtual ticket exclusivity is over.

I am wiiiippppeeddd. This is my last year, too. The conference will continue next year under a different brand with someone else at the helm, but I won’t be working it. If I’m there next year, it will be as an attendee. I wish them luck. I’m sure it’s going to be a very good, very successful show. I’ve had a good run with this. Six years of being the AV coordinator. The only year I didn’t was 2020, and that’s because everything was canceled that year. I didn’t actually make it to the conference last year, but I’d coordinated the volunteer team all the way up to the conference, so I still count it 😛

I’ll miss it, for sure. I’ve really loved doing it. Coordinating a group of people like that is something I’m good at. But, it’s a TON of work, and I have other things, now, keeping me busy. My writing, in particular. I’m ready to do more of it. Get some damn books out.

Speaking of…my newest releases tomorrow. Wish me luck. US luck. Me and Craig.

Night night.
