Liz is up with Joe and Madhuri and Ashika helping out this week. Baby is coming. She’s due on…Friday, I think. They induce on Saturday, if necessary. So very exciting.

I remember my brother Scott being born, but mostly I remember my brother Russell being born. I was four for Scott, so there are memories there. But I was seven for Russell, and so I remember much more. I was sleeping out in Aunt Susan and Uncle Tony’s truck with Jeremy the night Russell came. It was the middle of summer, so it wasn’t cold. And I remember my Aunt Susan came out in the middle of the night to say my mom and dad had gone to the hospital because she’d gone into labor. There was electricity in the air. Everyone was so happy and excited. I’ll never forget that.

Still feeling disjointed, for sure, but I’m continuing to actually get stuff done. Need to do more tomorrow, definitely, but I’m getting there. Pups are good. Joy has peed rather randomly inside the house a couple times over the past few days, so that just means she needs to be taken out more often. I can do that.

Oof, and I’m tired. Warriors lost tonight. I can’t say for sure, but my impression of this team so far is that we’re washed. Steph isn’t, which is why I’ll hold back on that, but Klay looks washed, Wiggins is a non-factor, CP3 looks washed, and Draymond might still have it but he certainly hasn’t found it yet so far this year. All of that adds up to a team that just doesn’t have it. So far. We started out well. Our bench is the best in the league. But our starting five IS a problem. We miss Jordan Poole’s offense. I really don’t know if we have another run in us. We look old. …washed up. We’ll see how the season plays out. I hope that’s wrong and we’re just rusty. Need a little time to get up to speed. We. Shall. See.

Night night.
