It is COLD tonight in LA, at least for this town. Lower 40s right right with gusts up to 30ish miles per hour. It’s the wind, always the wind, that really makes it cold. If it were calm out, this would be nothing. But it just cuts right through you. Been windy all night and all day, too. Supposed to last through tonight as well, and be gone around midday tomorrow. At least it’s not super duper dry. I think the wind is coming from the north as opposed to from the East. These aren’t Santa Ana’s, I don’t think, which means they’re not soooo dry. THAT combination—cold, windy, and dry—is my absolute least favorite weather in LA. I haaate that.
Gonna be pretty chilly for the next ten days it looks like, too. I’m fine with that. Chilly, but clear. That’s fine.
Riveting stuff, I know: the weather 🙂 Especially if you’re reading this from somewhere much worse than this, lol. Just keep in mind that when you live somewhere that’s built for nice weather, when it does actually turn a little chilly, you feel it a lot more. But, beyond that: you’re right. It’s still, objectively, nothing compared to wherever you are. Not even close.
Fairly busy day, actually. Tried to get a bunch of stuff done and didn’t really accomplish any of it, but started some stuff, continued some other stuff, and in general made progress but not major progress. Which is to say: it was a fine Sunday. I watched some football. I took a nap. Did yoga. I helped Liz with her audition, worked on the fridge cleaning project, got a really good chunk of the finances done, and otherwise took care of the pups and ate some food.
Grocery shopping tomorrow!
Night night.
