Needed a saturday like today. Whew! Pretty chill. And by that I mean…I got a good night’s sleep and when I woke up, it was grey outside, overcast, and I had the time and energy to get out into the front yard and finish up the weeding/weed whacking to get things in decent shape for the next few weeks…which is all I wanted for the front yard for now. Just, get it so it doesn’t look like shit, get through this spring season to the point where all those weeds calm the eff down for a while, and then I can finish this whole project.
Did it.
Took a shower, and then took an epic nap. One of those naps where you wake up and have no idea how long you’ve been asleep for. Pretty sure it was like an hour and a half, but…it’s what I needed, however long it was.
Got some snacks. Walked the pups. And then went and had dinner with our friends.
A really good day. Looking forward to another one tomorrow. Night night.
