A little late tonight getting into bed, but only because we had such a nice dinner out with our friends Alex and Nicole. Love those two!
Another really, really solid writing day. I finished out the rough sketch of the whole book…now its just going back through and giving some life to each of the scenes; enough for me to go on when I actually sit down to write them.
And now that I have the outline like this, I really want to just write the book, lol. And I might. It depends. I really feel in my bones that the most ideal way to do this is have the next book detail outlined as well, and then write them back to back, almost like they’re the same book. Otherwise, I feel like I run the risk that outlining the next book will be rushed and I’ll be tired doing it. The outlining is the hardest part, the most energy-intensive. Or…maybe not energy…but emotionally. Its where I iron out all the kinks that make me so anxious.
So, yeah. I think I need to have both books outlined. I think it’s requisite. But, we’ll see. It doesn’t have to happen that way.
