We went and saw Alien: Romulus today — it was fun! It’s not perfect, but it is WAY better than the last, most-recent additions to the franchise, which is a welcome relief. It’s back (mostly) to haunted houses in space, and that, folks, is what I’m here for. I recommend it. Go see it, if you like spooky space movies. Nor is it all that intense. R-rated, for sure, but I’d actually say it was more fun than it was scary (or even disturbing).
We saw it with Liz and Ali. So good to see those two. Got coffee and Halal Guys afterwards. Walked around. Had a hard time finding our cars, lol. It was a good time.
Got my ten pages done, even with the movie excursion. Very happy about that. Aiming for fifteen tomorrow.
Oh! and Wrexham won. They beat a team who is expected to be at the top of the league this year, and we looked good. Quite dominant, actually, though I’d say that my eye for footie still needs a looootttt more training and experience to really speak with any sort of authority on that. I think we looked pretty dominant. The score was, at least. 2-nil. Love it. So, I got to watch the match and got all my work done and did the movie. It was just enough time for everything.
And now…sleep. Gonna get this book DONE. Not tomorrow, no…but in a few days. We’ll see.
