Got to meet Kerry’s main squeeze today and her two kids. We went to Dave & Busters which, man, I haven’t been to since I think…Liz’s thirtieth birthday??? Crazy. It’s a fun place, for sure. I was good at MarioKart and the one where you throw balls at video plates to break them. Liz was great at Plinko. She got the big bonus there which earned us 1000 tickets. That was enough…to donate to the kids’ fund and get them a couple cool toys. Wholesome fun had by all.
Work was pretty chill today, which was nice. It was a pretty busy week! That was nice, too, actually. It was steady. Not crazy. That usually helps my writing in a weird way. Doesn’t help the creativity when I’m scrambling for work. Then the work-work overwhelms everything and I get exhausted. But steady work? Ie – work I get to do on my own pace? Helps immensely.
Liz is doing a voice over audition right now. Lots of grunting sounds like…she’s fighting, I think? Very entertaining.
Phew. I’m wiped. Time for sleep. Night night!
