Today I learned that MLB players are being harassed online by people who’ve placed bets and lost them. Death threats, stalking, other abusive language. Fan bases have always been hard on players when they’ve struggled, but this goes beyond booing. So…yeah. That’s another corner of the internet that sucks.
My heart goes out to those players.

Joy was a bit of a terror today. She ran out of the front yard and barked really aggressively at our next door neighbor’s dog, Leo, who was getting ready to go on a walk. So…no more letting them outside in the front without a leash. She’s done that once before, a long time ago, and twice is too much. I haven’t had a chance yet to apologize to our neighbor, but I’ll make sure I do tomorrow.
Work was busy today! Long. Busy from beginning to end. I need to go to Costco, but I haven’t been able to spare a moment. Tomorrow, perhaps. And, at the very least, I have a long weekend to recover.
No writing again today. Alas, I think this week is a zero…but we’ll see. I’m just wiped from all the go go go, you know? Zonked. Liz has been super busy as well. But…reprieve is coming.
