Once again, thumbing it. Joy is snugged up in the exact spot I’d need to put my iPad to write this entry, and she’s not budging. Silly baby.
Another day a bit out of it. Going to be out and about tomorrow super early and away until the afternoon, I think. So…it was just hard for me to focus. And then we have people staying with us this weekend, plus stuff with the Kings on Sunday…it’s a lot. Good stuff, though, and I shall persevere in terms of the writing.
I’m almost done digging out my parking space! One more, like, 30-45 minute session and it’s all dug out. Next step after that is to go and get the pressure treated 4x4s I need, and then level the ground. Maybe compact it a bit, we’ll see about that. Then hire some people to clear out all the excess dirt, cinder blocks and old mulch…man, once that step is done I will be SO EXCITED. That will be huuuuuge. It’ll be gravel after that, compactor, top nice gravel, weed barrier for the rest of the yard, some pavers to make a walkway, new mulch down…and done. For now. Planters in the future. But that will be a clean, functional, decent looking front yard that will require almost zero maintenance. My god. What a joy that will be.
