Had dinner at Uovo tonight and…legit, that place might be my favorite restaurant of them all. Good god I love that pasta. I had their artichoke heart tagliatelle tonight, plus a ragu added on (basically their bolognese). Liz had the cured pork pasta I can’t remember the name of (aglianico is all I can think of but that’s a wine grape). She won the wine wars this evening, both with her muscadet at the wine bar upstairs and then again with her Chianti with dinner. Holy shit that Chianti was stunning, both with the food and without it. Whew! Gonna have to get a bottle of it. I can still taste it, it was that good.
Got the digging done today for my parking space. Bought the 4x4s to surround it, rented the truck to deliver them home, took a nap…and walked the pups both am and pm. It was a long day. I’m bushwhacked.
