Loooonnnggg day. Got up early to walk the pups before it was 100 degrees out. The carrot there was going to Dutch Bros and walking around the really nice neighborhood. Saw some landscaping that we want to emulate for our own house.
Got breakfast after that from one of the legit good spots up there, Biscuits & Buttermilk I think it’s called. Liz got the actual biscuits, but I got the breakfast burrito and holy shit it was delicious. And then poof, it was work time and I worked straight through for the entire rest of the day. I was slammed. I got done what I needed to get done, though. Whew!
Had just enough time to take a nap before it was time to get ready for Madhuri’s graduation dinner. Well, fed the pups first, then got ready. The dinner was nice, Madhuri was recognized, played with the kids, then went back to their house, packed up, took the pups on a pretty quick walk—it was still in the 90s—and then we were off back home.
Went over Liz’s audition in the car. Now home. Fed the kitties, they were so hungry, got a ticket for not moving my car like an idiot before we left, and now in bed, barely keeping my eyes open as I type this entry. Whew.
