Sunny is with us. I think it might have been this same time last year when the Kings went out of town for a while, but Sun-sun is in the house, Joy is beside herself with excitement, and we are too. She’s a big dog compared to what we’re used to, but not that big. Like…2/3 of a German Shepherd. She’s a Norwegian Elk Hound. So soft. So loud. And very, very sweet. She’s great.

Had a little lickems session with Silky and Bruce out on the front stoop tonight! I squeeze the fish purée, they lick. Silky is so sweet because he just stands there and makes biscuits. He’s been enjoying pets lately. Getting super into them. Not outside of food being involved, but still. I can, like, scratch his head and he really likes it, so that’s progress. He was our first feral kitty, even before we saw Jeff. He and Jeff were good friends. And he was so small back then. Still growing. I remember seeing the two of them up on our roof. Good memories.

Didn’t have much work today, which is good, because holy shit I worked almost two days’ worth of hours yesterday. Fourteen, I think. Oof. Still feeling the effects of that.

Night night.
