Sitting outside right now while Snacks and Joy run around together because they didn’t get to earlier in the evening. They’re so funny. They’re completely at ease with each other. The trust is absolute. They’re family. It’s because they met each other at just the right age. Snacks was still a kitten, albeit a bit older than Joy, and Joy was a baby. Like, she was a month and a half old. So she was completely non-threatening, and Snacks was an only child, so he was dying for companionship his own age and intellect.

The two couldn’t be better matched for each other. They both love to play. So much more than anyone else around them. Even Chloe, who’s younger than Snacks, has zero interest in wrestling and running around. But Joy does. It’s all she wants to do all the time.

Got my pages written. Today was the day I was expecting all week: a struuuuuugggle. But I did it. Passed the 300-page mark. Figured that I probably have closer to 200 pages to go rather than 100, but, sigh. That’s okay. That’s what these books seem to clock in at. That means a good three to four weeks to go. I’ll get there. Was hoping for two weeks.

Anyway. Bed time. Night night.
