We watched Howl’s Moving Castle tonight. Always a special watch, for sure. Miyazaki at his most creative, no doubt, and some of his highest artwork. Truly spectacular, the level he jumped with Spirited and Howl’s. Maybe the best animation ever? It’s breathtaking.
Busy day. Lots of driving. It was 3 1/2 hours to pick Liz up from LAX, which is WILD. That’s LA on Friday, though. The 405. It’s weird it was that long because it didn’t actually feel like it until the very end. But, we’re all so glad she’s home.
Podcasting was super fun. Good times. Great times, in fact. Really looking forward to finishing up Miyazaki, having watched all of his movies. That’s going to be kinda wild. It’s already gone by SO fast.
