Busy day. I took out our massive bougainvillea. I thought it was going to be harder, actually, but I was able to make decently quick work of it with a pruning saw and a pickaxe.
Tomorrow, I finish the parking space. Can’t wait. We pick up the compactor nice and early. Plan is to use it for four hours. Have it returned by then. We’ll see. It’ll be an hour just of transit time…but I think I can get the layer I already have spread out compacted and then the next layer spread and compacted within three hours. Pretty sure. We shall see! Then…return the compactor, shovel the remaining gravel…somewhere—depends on how much is left, I guess…and then it’s done. Driveway clear again and new parking space ready to use. What a massive, massive step that will be. Can’t wait.
Yard demolition and clean up will follow. Woohoo.
