The dogs are piled on top of me right now. So much so, I can’t write my blog entry on my iPad. Joy is snuggled up too high into my lap. There’s no room. So, iPhone it is.
You know, I thought I was going to upgrade my phone this cycle. I really did. It felt like time, my battery is getting weaker, it wasn’t charging from the lightning port, and it’s been…five years, I think? Something like that. Easily the longest I’ve ever had an iPhone. But after watching the reveal and then reading about how the big jump really is expected to come next year…I’ve decided to wait. I can save up, even, between now and then. Put the money away for it, you know? Which I think I will. This phone has some life left in it yet, I think. We’ll see. I reserve the right to change my mind.
Had brunch with the Hinmans today. They were at a Vrbo with a pool, so that was fun. Took a dip. Hung out with Wolfie and Tilde and Mir. Cat, too, and Matt. The whole fam. It was good.
Took an epic nap. The combo of working so hard on the house and yard, the party, and getting up in the middle of the night has definitely taken its toll on me. I’m exhausted these days. Whew! But…that should all be getting a little better, I think, in the coming weeks. The next push is to get this novel/novella done for the growing email list. That will be tough. But I can do it.
