We have Tommen boy in the house, halleloo! He’s hurt his leg already, however. Or, he hurt it before he got here and now he’s limping on it. Sigh. It’s been an issue for him for the past few months due to an injury jumping up onto his bed. Tweaked his knee, I think. It’s been stubborn healing. But, we got him on some meds and we have systems in place to make sure there’s no jumping while he’s with us. Poor bubs. He’s nice and medicated now, though. Suuuuuper sleepy. Which means happy.
Waiting on one last round of feedback and proofreading and Glory 5 is off to the public. Excited. And very much looking forward to getting the next book started. It’s the novella this time. We’ll see how small I can make it. I think 250 pages is a worthy goal. That would take 8 weeks to write at a very leisurely pace. It sounds like a dream.
There is still much work to be done in the front yard, however. Sigh. That will take another “push” from me. But it must be done. A week, probably? Something like that. Getting the pavers set will take a bit more effort than I anticipated. Like everything in this project, lol. But I don’t mind it, to be honest. It’s all starting to make sense.
15 minutes later of looking up pavers and pea gravel and I know my “solution” for my parking space is going to be a temporary one. I’ll still need a permanent plan. Decomposed granite is one. It’s basically either that or crushed base, sounds like. Sigh. We’ll see. I think I’ll just take it one step at a time. It’s definitely possible to dig out the pea gravel, which is probably the best option…but I’ll need somewhere to put all that pea gravel, which means a whole other project, so that will take some time. But hopefully this buys me some time. We’ll see.
Night night!
