This NBA gambling scandal is wiiiiild. And completely expected, to be frank, given how much all pro sports have embraced gambling over the last seven years. It’s gonna keep happening, too, so long as they continue to embrace it, and it remains so rampant online. It could ruin pro sports. I’m not saying it will, but it could. Why watch something when you know there’s a good chance it’s fixed?
It’s another late night, sigh. No fine distinction, though “snitch” versus “rat” is PERFECT for this kind of breaking scandal.
I did my writing today. Almost didn’t. But I pulled it out. Whew. Back at it in the morning. Hoping for a chill day tomorrow. I could use it. Catch up on my reading. Podcast editing. Etc.
Oh, and the Dubs beat the Nuggets in a thriller. Nuggets look VERY very good. We almost didn’t pull it out. Huge win. Starting the season strong, like we need to.
