Tonight we are FINALLY going to learn about the distinction between a “snitch” and a “rat.”

A snitch informs on others; they are a tattletale.

A rat informs on their own; they are a traitor.

Oooh, and it gets one shade deeper than that, too, because there are “true” rats and “false” rats. A “true” rat is someone who is genuinely a part of the group they betray. Like…Fredo in The Godfather II. A “false” rat, otherwise known as a mole, is someone who infiltrates and gains the trust of a group with the intent, the entire time, to betray them. Like…Donnie Brasco. He’s a mole, a “false” rat.

Goood stuff. I like this one because it has story written all over it.

It’s already bed time and I do want to read for a bit, so it’ll be a quick rundown of my Sunday:

Got up to write.

Rode bikes and played video games with Wolfie.

Got the rioja that I love so much on the drive home.

Watched my sports. Not a great day for those I was rooting for, lol.

Took a nap. Tried and failed to finish my shakespeare reading. Walked pups. Ate dinner and watched GBBO with Bear. Took a shower. Filled out my time card. And here we are. Night night time.

Hope you had a wonderful Sunday 🙂
