Tonight’s fine distinction is all about math, numbers to be precise: “natural numbers” vs “integers” vs “rational numbers” vs “real numbers.” Let’s throw in “irrational numbers” and “imaginary numbers,” too.
Natural numbers are whole, round numbers. 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.
Integers are natural numbers, plus negative numbers, -1, -2, -3, etc.
Rational numbers add in fractions and decimals (that, contrary to the next term, DO have a calculable terminating decimal place).
Irrational numbers are fractions or decimals that do not terminate, ie- the calculation to the decimal places theoretically goes on forever.
All of those together make up Real numbers.
Lastly, there is a weird world called Imaginary numbers (denoted with the i symbol), full of hypothetical oddities that, when combined with real numbers, form “complex numbers.”

Not a super productive day today. Sigh. Didn’t get the best night’s sleep, so I didn’t get up right on time. I did get in one of my writing sessions in the morning, so that was a win. I didn’t get in either hour in the evening though. Liz needed my help, so I did that. And then worked on some ads. I felt kinda wound up all day. Out of my groove. Hoping a good night’s sleep tonight and getting up on time tomorrow gets me back into it.
Work was slow, too, which can either be a boon or a hinderance. Today it was the latter.
Pups are great. Liz is over at the Kings’ helping out. Night night.
