Things are starting to wrap up. Work is (hopefully?) slowing down. Christmas is a week away, now. Wild. Doesn’t feel like it. Still feels…three weeks away? Something like that.
Writing was hard this morning. Very distracted. Tired is what I was. Really really tired. But I did get a scene started. Sigh. It’s okay. I can get a lot done even between now and Christmas. And then between new years and when we take our Hawaii trip. Lots done. Very very much looking forward to then getting started on the book and outlining the next one simultaneously. That’s going to be HARD…but very very satisfying.
Did more digging today into the Amazon ad. Preliminary stuff, I need to double check it all for sure and verify/make sure I’m calculating everything properly…but I think it’s super effective. Like, a really good conversion rate. 8x better than our facebook ads. But, I’m not absolutely sure. I could be calculating it wrong. We’ll see. It’s all new for me, this stuff, so…yeah. But the good news is that our book is seeing SALES and that’s the most important thing to start. Ad spend and no sales is bad. Ad spend and more sales than spend is, by default, good. They’re working. Beyond that, it’s about drilling down into what, specifically, is working best and then pouring resources there. But baseline level, we’re already in good shape. Whew.
